アート作品「円盤体」は、連続的に変化するパターンが楽しいキネティックアートで、時間の不思議を表現したアート作品です。不完全な図柄がストライプ模様と干渉することで新しい模様が浮かび上がる錯視現象「遮蔽補完効果」を用いています。ストライプをデザインすることで出現するパターンの見え隠れを調整できます。
これを数字の出現に用いると、時計のようなオブジェになります。
The artwork "Disk Body" is a kinetic artwork with a fun continuously changing pattern that expresses the wonder of time. It uses the "shielding completion effect," an optical illusion in which a new pattern emerges when an imperfect pattern interferes with a striped pattern. By designing the stripes, the appearance of the pattern can be adjusted.
When this is used for the appearance of numbers, it becomes a clock-like object.
