アート作品“棒状体”は銀色の棒状造形部と台座状造形部から構成されている造形物である。棒状造形部は、その細い先端部が矩形状断面であって、太い根元部は部分的に丸みを帯びた３次元的な形状をしている。鋭い稜線が滑らかにねじれながら曲面を構成し、先端部と根元部をなだらかに接続している。棒状造形部は水平から少し上向きの角度をつけて、大地を象徴する台座状造形部の上に浮き上がるように支持されている。シンプルでありつつ、うねるような複雑な曲面形状の造形美が、大地から起き上がろうとしているあるいは飛び立とうとしている力強さを表現している。

The artwork " Rod Body" is a sculpture consisting of a silver-colored rod-shaped sculpture and a pedestal-shaped sculpture. The bar-shaped part has a rectangular cross section at its thin tip and a partially rounded three-dimensional shape at its thick base. The sharp ridges twist smoothly to form a curved surface, gently connecting the tip and root portions. The bar-shaped part is angled slightly upward from the horizontal, and is supported so that it floats above the pedestal-shaped part, which symbolizes the earth. The beauty of the simple yet intricate undulating curved surface shape expresses the strength of the sculpture as if it is about to rise up from the earth or fly away.
